This map is a tribute that Soroptimist International d’Italia – Club di Como wanted to dedicate to the women of Como who are important in the history and culture of our country, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the constitution of the Club 1954-2024.

It is a virtual itinerary that tells the story of the lives and works of these outstanding women along with the
symbolic places that link them, creating an ideal journey through sport, art, science, history and civic
commitment.

This cultural project is a concrete gesture, a starting point to highlight the contribution to progress made by many women in our region. It responds to the objective of women’s empowerment promoted by Soroptimist
International of Italy.
